1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise the user on subsequent visits, remember preferences and collect statistical information about site usage.
2. Categories used
At Ecadrop we use four (4) categories: necessary cookies, without which the site does not work correctly; preference cookies, which remember language and consent; analytics cookies, which measure aggregated and anonymous traffic; and marketing cookies, which are only activated if you explicitly accept their use.
3. Consent and Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. This means that analytics and marketing tools operate by default in "denied" mode and are only activated when you grant your explicit consent through the banner. You can accept all cookies or reject optional ones.
4. Necessary cookies
These cookies are used to maintain the basic operation of the site, including memory of the consent granted, the selected language and security aspects. They do not require prior consent, as they are essential to provide the service.
5. Analytics cookies
We use web analytics tools that collect aggregated and anonymised information about the number of visitors, most-read pages, time spent and traffic origin. We never individually identify a user from this data.
6. Marketing cookies
We may use marketing cookies if you explicitly accept them. Their purpose is to measure the effectiveness of educational content campaigns and avoid showing repetitive messages to the same visitor.
7. Duration
The duration of each cookie depends on its purpose. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies last between seven (7) days and twenty-four (24) months depending on the provider.
8. How to manage them
You can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Note that if you block all cookies, some features of the site — such as remembering your language or your consent — will stop working correctly.
9. Contact
For questions about this cookie policy, write to privacy@ecadrop.com. We will update this policy each time we introduce significant changes to the tools used.
